October 16: The Courage to Try

🏔️✨ ON THIS DAY | OCTOBER 16, 2026 ✨🏔️
The extraordinary begins with the courage to try. ❤️
Forty years ago today, Reinhold Messner stood atop Lhotse in the Himalayas, becoming the first person to climb all 14 of the world’s 8,000-meter peaks without supplemental oxygen.
Just imagine the determination, the setbacks, and the courage it took to reach that moment.
But history reminds us that extraordinary things happen in all kinds of ways. Sometimes they begin with a dream, a discovery, or simply someone willing to try something nobody thought possible.
